The History of L.A. Hall Ltd
Founded in 1948 by Lawrence Hall, the company was established in a small yard on Lime Street in Hull. In 1965 Lawrence passed the business onto his son Mike Hall who continued successfully until 2000 when it was purchased by Steve Copeman, a well–established member of the team, who remains in control today. Throughout its history, the company has remained at its Lime Street HQ, which has undergone something of a transformation – including the purchase and demolition of 8 disused terraced houses in order to extend the site and improve access.
In recent years, the company has grown dramatically to a team of 30 staff, providing a valued service to a diverse clientele within the residential, commercial and public sectors. We believe this continued growth has been based on our desire to surpass the expectations of each and every customer we serve.
